KHAC DAU TAI NANG LUAT SEASON II - MILESTONES OF THE LAW JOURNEY

"Khac dau Tai nang Luat Season II" is an extremely useful and interesting academic competition for all Law students in Ho Chi Minh City. It is organized by the Communist Youth Union of the Faculty of Economic Law - UEL with the aim of helping students have skills to practice law in the future; consolidate and improve their understanding of legal knowledge in various fields; learn more about the skills, manners, and ethics of the legal profession; especially meeting, exchanging and tightening solidarity among students of schools in Ho Chi Minh City area. In general, this is both a contest and a very meaningful playground not only for the University of Economics and Law but also for all students inside and outside the school.

“Khac dau Tai nang Luat” season II took place with 3 main rounds, which are the Preliminary round, the Semi-final round and the Final round. On April 16, 2022, after going through the preliminary round to select the contestants to enter the next round, the semi-finals of the competition took place successfully with the performance of four teams including: NCP, REGINA, TND and TAN.

Contestants have to go through three very intense challenges in the semi-finals: namely Writing Advice in English, Debating and Debating with the Jury. In the end, the brightest names were called out, that is, TAN and TND. These are the two teams with the highest and most amazing points, so these two teams will compete together in the Final Round of “Khac dau Tai nang Luat” season II.

To provide candidates with the necessary skills to help the Final Round as well as create opportunities for them to be exposed to the legal working environment. On April 24, 2022, the Communist Youth Union of the Faculty of Economic Law organized a training session and a field visit at the headquarters of LHLegal Law Company Limited - a law practice organization with a team of lawyers who are legal experts with a wide range of experience, skills, and practical experience.

The candidates had the opportunity to be guided by lawyers and experts at LHLegal as well as answer questions about legal knowledge. The candidates also gained a lot of practical knowledge about related issues and also shared necessary information for the future career orientation of lawyers.

On May 8, 2022 after a long period of careful preparation, the final round of the season II “Khac dau Tai nang Luat” contest took place extremely successfully with the participation of 2 teams, TAN , TND. The members of the jury are experienced and knowledgeable, including: Master Tran Minh Tu, Lawyer Le Nguyen Hoa and Lawyer Duong Hoang Thao as well as all guests and spectators present at hall A , University of Law and Economics.

Experiencing three exciting rounds of the group and individual competition, including the defense round for plaintiffs and defendants; English speaking round, and the legal consultation round, the jury selected the winner. The new champion of the contest “Khac dau Tai nang Luat” season II belongs to contestant Vu Le Hoai Thuong and the best group belongs to the group TAN. This is probably a memorable experience for everyone, especially for those of you who participated with such enthusiasm. Hopefully, after the competition, the students will have their own more useful and interesting knowledge than ever before.
