Student science research

With the aim to improve the quality of training highly qualified human resources, contributing to discovering and fostering talents for the country; promote dynamism, creativity, independent scientific research ability of students, form self-study, self-research capacity for students, and contribute to the creation of new knowledge and products for society. Scientific research activities are always a parallel activity with other extracurricular activities of students, which are encouraged and supported by the University of Economics and Law. Every year, the University of Economics and Law organizes the Student Scientific Research Program "UEL Young Scientist" award for the participants who are individuals and groups of students from all the courses following universities bachelor training system of the University of Economics and Law. Students can register and conduct scientific research projects in the fields of: economics, management, legal, education, society and management informatics.


For specialized research projects managed by the Faculty of Economic Law, students will be supported and guided in terms of expertise during the implementation of research projects. 


When participating in scientific research activities, students have the opportunity to develop their potential for scientific research, improve their knowledge, and are facilitated to promote their thinking ability, creativity, approach to scientific research and the application of learned knowledge in practice. In addition, students will practice how to carry out the scientific project under the enthusiastic guidance of faculty members. This is also an opportunity for students to prepare to implement graduate thesis and research papers about postgraduates in the future. Not only that, the students will be trained for their positive working style, teamwork skills, presentation skills and topic defense in front of the council, ... which is really useful for the learning process, study and work after graduation.


For projects that have won high prizes at the school level, students will be further developed and fostered to participate in scientific research prizes at city levels and ministerial levels. For the commended topics, the achievements of the students will be recognized as one of the important milestones and achievements in the learning process at the university and saved in the scientific research yearbook of the university.


Over the years, leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Economics - Law have been very enthusiastic and actively supported students in scientific research activities. Specifically, all lecturers in the faculty are involved in guiding the process of students implementing the topic according to the proposal of the students and under the assignment of the faculty leader. As a result, in recent years, students of the Faculty of Economic Law have achieved many high achievements in student scientific research activities. Not only at the university level but also a number of topics were sent to compete at the ministerial level, the Eureka Prize of the Youth Union and achieved certain achievements.


In the near future, the Faculty of Economic Law will continue to promote scientific research activities of students in the faculty to become one of the key activities in the series of extracurricular programs parallel with the academic process of the faculty students at the university.
